Unique Lanka Travels Highlights Sri Lanka Tourism at OTM 2026

Mumbai,Sri Lanka–based destination management company Unique Lanka Travels participated in OTM 2026, Asia’s travel trade exhibition, held from February 5 to 7 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, with a focus on strengthening its presence in the Indian travel market.

According to the company, its participation aimed at promoting Sri Lanka as a preferred destination for Indian outbound travellers and at expanding business relationships with international travel partners. OTM 2026 brought together tourism boards, tour operators and other industry stakeholders from more than 60 countries, providing a platform for business development and collaboration.

During the exhibition, Unique Lanka Travels presented visual material showcasing Sri Lanka’s landscapes, including beaches, hill regions, historical sites and cultural traditions. The company outlined its approach to designing customized travel itineraries tailored to Indian travellers seeking leisure, luxury, adventure and experiential travel options across the island.

Charith De Alwis, Chief Executive Officer of Unique Lanka Travels, said India continues to be a major source market for Sri Lankan tourism. He said the exhibition offered opportunities to engage with trade partners, understand market trends and jointly develop tourism products. He added that the company focuses on providing customized and sustainable travel experiences through operational support and local expertise.

The company also presented its range of destination management services at the event, including customized tours, cultural and nature-based travel, adventure activities, meetings and incentive travel support, and responsible tourism programs.

Organisers described OTM 2026 as a business-to-business travel exhibition designed to facilitate partnerships and project development within the global tourism sector.
