The action-drama film Subedaar, starring Anil Kapoor, was featured on digital billboards in New York City’s Times Square as part of a promotional showcase for the recently released Prime Video title.
Images and video shared online show visuals from the film displayed on the large electronic screens in the commercial district, one of the world’s most recognized advertising locations. The appearance marks a promotional moment for the film as it reaches international audiences through the streaming platform.
Subedaar follows the story of Subedaar Arjun Maurya, a retired soldier whose quiet civilian life is disrupted by a reckless act. According to the film’s description, the character is drawn back into a world of conflict where he confronts crime, corruption and personal challenges while trying to protect his family.
The film is directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Triveni. Alongside Kapoor, the cast includes Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, Mona Singh and Khushboo Sundar in supporting roles.
Subedaar premiered on Prime Video on March 5. The film is available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in India and is streaming in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
