Mumbai— Sony Pictures Networks India has announced a slate of brand partnerships for the Indian edition of the global television game show Wheel of Fortune, set to air on Sony Entertainment Television.
According to the announcement, Maruti Suzuki and Maaza will serve as co-presenting partners for the show. The programme is co-powered by Pidilite Industries (Roff), Philips Home Appliances, StockGro, and Denver Perfumes, with State Bank of India joining as special partner.
The Indian edition will be hosted by actor Akshay Kumar. Sony said the show combines the scale of a global television format with comedy, interactivity, and family-oriented entertainment, positioning it as a platform for advertisers to reach a broad, multi-generational audience.
Akshay Agrawal, Head of Linear Ad Sales at Sony Pictures Networks India, said the company has designed the programme as an integrated platform where brand associations can be embedded into the content to support engagement and recall. He added that the network aims to create a seamless experience for both viewers and advertisers.
Executives from partner brands including Maruti Suzuki, Philips Home Appliances, StockGro, Pidilite Industries, and Denver Perfumes said the association aligns with their efforts to connect with family audiences through widely viewed entertainment formats.
Recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s most popular television game show and a recipient of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show, Wheel of Fortune is being introduced to Indian audiences through this new local adaptation.
